Are you ready to uncover what Kiba-Kai has been hiding? As far as the general population knows, the "wolf" is still very much alive—quietly lurking in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike.Once a loud and powerful force to be reckoned with, Kiba-Kai is now but a whisper on the streets of Kugane. And a magnificent storm shall it be...
Our Goal⸻|| Heavy Spoilers
(We are current with the Dawntrail expansion.)At first glance, Kiba-Kai appears to be just another syndicate born from the underbelly of Kugane. Once one of the largest crime organizations in Shishu, (for reasons unknown), it has since dwindled to a mere handful of clansmen. Yet, with its rebirth, the syndicate's influence is growing, extending even into the western nations.For those who join the syndicate and bear its 'mark,' there is but one goal: to oppose the authoritarian powers of Hingashi, righting the wrongs caused by their greed and abuse of power—while also filling their own coffers.The true motive remains unspoken; only those who prove their worth and earn the trust of their oyabun will uncover the truth.Business and money laundering are the games at play, for everyone speaks the language of gold and coin. Dare to face the challenges of a rising cartel? Or perhaps you're curious about the corruption lurking within politics? Inquire within.

Ninkyodo⸻|| Yakuza Code of Ethics
Hierarchy
Oyabun (also known as kumichō or kaichō): Boss, father, chairman; the top of the food chain. The oyabun (surrogate father) oversees the kobun (surrogate children) in a parent-child like relationship and holds supreme authority. Respected, revered and highly regarded, the oyabun’s word is law. Kobun are loyal to the oyabun and see to it their methods and ambitions are executed.Wakagashira (young head, first lieutenant): The next oyabun, the right hand; plays a key role in managing the family's members and handling conflicts or disputes. The position is seen as a crucial one for maintaining order and loyalty within the organization. The wakagashira often acts as a mediator between the oyabun and the lower-ranked members, ensuring that orders from the boss are carried out effectively. The responsibilities and influence of the wakagashira are significant, as they act as the oyabun's right-hand and are often entrusted with making decisions on the boss's behalf.Saiko-komon (also known as komon): Chief advisor, head advisory; a highly respected figure, often someone with a great deal of experience in Yakuza groups and is not necessarily involved in the day-to-day operations or decision-making of the group. Instead, their role is to provide counsel and guidance to the oyabun and other senior members of the organization. The saiko-komon is a respected, senior advisor who provides wisdom and advice, often acting as a mentor or guide to the current leadership.Shateigashira (second lieutenant, younger head): Regional managers; the shateigashira are responsible for maintaining discipline and order among the group's members, ensuring that they remain loyal and perform their duties effectively. Like other Yakuza positions, the role of shateigashira is one that involves strong leadership, loyalty, and responsibility to the family. Their duties include supervising the kobun (subordinates), ensuring that they follow the rules of the organization, and carrying out orders from higher-ranking members.Kyodai (older brother): Senior members and siblings; the kyodai is often a trusted member who has earned their place through loyalty, experience, and service to the organization. They are typically peers to the oyabun (boss) or the wakagashira (second-in-command), but their role can vary depending on the specific structure of the family. The kyodai relationship is important in the Yakuza code of loyalty and respect, emphasizing the bond between members who view each other as brothers. This sense of familial connection is central to the Yakuza's hierarchical and structured way of functioning, and kyodai members are expected to support each other and remain fiercely loyal to the family.Shatei (younger brother): The fledglings, the newest members; shatei members are often referred to as "foot soldiers" in the Yakuza structure, and they may take on a variety of roles, from handling illegal activities to more menial tasks, as they prove their loyalty and skills within the organization. They are considered part of the core of the Yakuza family, which operates based on a code of loyalty and honor. They are expected to show loyalty, follow orders, and contribute to the activities of the organization. In return, they receive protection, guidance, and the benefits of being part of the Yakuza family.Shokunin (artisan, tradesmen): The prospects, retainers; shokunin are members who have dedicated themselves to a specific role within the organization, whether it's in the realm of organizing illicit businesses, handling finances, or managing enforcement activities. Much like traditional shokunin, they are expected to be professionals in their field, possessing a high level of mastery and a sense of duty to the group. Shokunin are potential recruits, providing support and expertise to the organization and showing their devotion to the Yakuza family.
Law and Order
Respect of Authority and Honor: The backbone of order and structure within Yakuza families. Respecting hierarchy means understanding and adhering to the established order or structure within Kiba-Kai. It involves recognizing and honoring the roles, authority, and positions of individuals according to their rank or seniority. In contexts such as the Yakuza, respecting hierarchy is essential for maintaining order, discipline, and harmony.Do Not Steal from the Everyday Man: A principle that reflects a moral and ethical stance against exploiting or harming ordinary individuals, particularly those who are vulnerable or marginalized in society. It emphasizes respect for others' labor, resources, and dignity, and upholds the idea that people should not be taken advantage of for personal gain, especially those who may not have the means to protect themselves or fight back.Do Not Disrupt the Harmony of the Family: Emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace, unity, and balance within the family. It suggests that one should act in a way that preserves the well-being and stability of family relationships, avoiding actions that could cause conflict, division, or harm. This principle is often rooted in cultural, moral, and social values that prioritize collective well-being over individual desires.Do Not Touch or Pursue the Spouse of Another Member: Deeply rooted in respect, loyalty, and ethical behavior, emphasizing the sanctity of personal relationships and the importance of maintaining trust within a group or community. This principle is especially prevalent in traditional cultures, organizations, and social structures where relationships and personal boundaries are highly valued. Marital boundaries are to be respected at all times.Always Act Chivalrously: A principle that calls for individuals to behave with honor, respect, and a sense of duty, especially in interactions with others. Derived from the ideals of medieval knighthood, chivalry is often associated with traits like courtesy, bravery, loyalty, and a commitment to justice. In modern terms, acting chivalrously means upholding high moral standards and showing integrity in one's actions.

Muerte sin Nombre:⸻|| Information
In the war-torn land of Dalmasca, the Muerte sin Nombre rose from the ashes of rebellion and empire. Led by siblings Alejandro and Roselitta Serrano, the group is infamous for its brutal tactics and ruthless efficiency. The MsN are the go-to force for those who prefer to achieve their goals through fear and bloodshed rather than diplomacy.The MsN was founded by Alejandro Serrano, a former spymaster and lord of Dalmasca, who used his connections and position to wage a shadow war against the Garleans during their occupation of his homeland.
After the empire was repelled from the war-torn ruins of his homeland, Alejandro Serrano reassembled a loyal cadre of cutthroats and mercenaries, channeling their shared hatred for their former enemies into a profitable business. In the chaotic era of reconstruction following the empire's fall, the company quickly gained notoriety for its uncompromising brutality and efficient professionalism. Now, it seeks to expand its influence—and the profits that come with it—across the star.To this end, Muerte sin Nombre's operations in the west are led by Roselitta Serrano, a former guerrilla fighter in the war that ravaged Dalmasca. Her experience and prowess in the wars against the Garlean Empire across Othard have made her a formidable soldier. Her time as a bounty hunter and hired killer after the wars has shaped her into a ruthless professional. Now, alongside her brother, the siblings work to restore and rebuild the Serrano name in this new era through trade, conquest, and glory.
Muerte sin Nombre is a free company dedicated to the character development of its members through story-driven events in the world of Final Fantasy XIV. The Yakuza:⸻|| Information
The epitome of something born from nothing, the clan’s origins are a true testament to the bonds that tie us.What began as a scorned man gathering foreign riff-raff from the streets, like trinkets and sundries, would eventually blossom into one of the largest crime syndicates Hingashi had ever seen. The Wolf of Kugane, a volatile and deadly figure of the shadows, seemingly turned Kugane's underbelly on its side in less than a moon...
Following him were thirty-two "fangs," the core of the syndicate's maw: soldiers, advisors, legal representatives, real estate agents, drug lords, and business owners. There was hardly a pot The Wolf didn’t have his hand in. With an iron fist and a harsh, unforgiving regimen, defiance was out of the question. Those who dared to trifle with him were met with the cruelest of punishments. Soldiers were disposed of without hesitation, replaced as quickly as they fell. For many seasons, that was the status quo... until one woman unknowingly shook his entire world.The Wolf's ambitions would inevitably become his downfall, as his grasping hands reached much too far. Setting his sights on the western nations and all the spoils and glory they promised, all he needed was something to sink his teeth into. Fate delivered the opportunity, practically throwing it at his feet, when one Eno Fukushima came to The Wolf in search of information. They were no star-crossed lovers, nor soulmates—more like predator and prey—but that didn’t stop two scarred hearts from calling to one another. A wolf and a lamb, which soon became a wolf and a snake.The fangs of Kiba-Kai felt slighted by Eno’s swift and sudden promotion to saiko-komon, but how could any of them protest when the penalty for dissent could, and would, be death?If they were still alive, they’d tell you that The Wolf had more nefarious intentions. He didn’t want her—he wanted Hancock, and Eno was but a means to that end. Smitten as she was, the snake found herself trapped between heart and home, forced to choose between the two. It was an impossible decision, one she couldn’t bear to make. That hesitation soon cost her everything. Though her life was spared, Eno Fukushima was stripped of her rank and excommunicated from Kiba-Kai. The price for her survival: a handsome debt she could never repay—just a means for The Wolf to keep his teeth in her.But all things, good or bad, must eventually come to an end, and who would have thought the mighty wolf could be felled by a slippery snake?Now, as oyabun of Kiba-Kai, she intends to rebuild all that she destroyed in her quest for vengeance. The fangs will be sharper and stronger than ever before.
Kiba-Kai is a serious roleplay free company that delves deeply into darker themes, organized crime, business dealings, connections, and political machinations. The majority of our events take place in the Far East, so a solid understanding of its culture and history is highly recommended.In-character consequences here can be extremely severe due to the nature of the organization. We will always communicate with you, and any actions taken will require your consent before they are written.However, if you are sensitive to blood, gore, or violence, struggle with authority, or are easily triggered by sensitive topics and traumatic events, we strongly advise you to reconsider.
