<KIBA> is a serious roleplay-focused initiative consisting of three sister free companies, set in both the Far East and Greater Eorzea. Majority of our events will be centered around organized crime, darker themes, political machinations, ancient legend and eastern folklore.

Each free company will offer their own unique experiences and cater to different audiences.

We welcome all adventurers from wherever they may hail, but we expect our members to know and understand the lore and history from "Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" and its related content.

Power Scaling

Unique and/or "otherworldly" characters are allowed for consideration.
(Spirits, Yokai, Voidsent, etc.)However, ALL characters must adhere to /random dice rolls for combat, investigation and altercations. No exceptions.Characters who are deemed "too powerful" or toe the line of "godmodding" will not be accepted. "Lore bending" characters are allowed for creative freedom, not full execution.

Muerte sin Nombre:⸻|| Information

In the war-ravaged land of Dalmasca, the Muerte sin Nombre rose from the ashes of rebellion and empire. Led by the siblings Alejandro and Roselitta Serrano, they are known for their brutal tactics and ruthless efficiency. The MsN are the go-to force for those who prefer to achieve their goals through fear and bloodshed rather than diplomacy.The MsN were founded by Alejandro Serrano, a former spymaster and lord in Dalmasca who used his connections and station to undermine and wage a shadow war against the Garleans as they occupied his homeland.

After the empire had been repelled from the war-torn ruins of his homeland, he reassembled a loyal cadre of cutthroats and mercenaries, turning their shared hatred for their former enemies into a lucrative business model. In the chaotic era of reconstruction within the empire's wake, the company quickly gained notoriety for its uncompromising brutality and efficient professionalism. Now, it seeks to spread it's influence and the profits that brings to the rest of the star.To this end, Muerte sin Nombre's operations in the west is headed up by Roselitta Serrano, a former guerilla in the war that ravaged Dalmasca. Her experience and prowess in the wars against the Garlean Empire across Othard have made her an expert soldier. Her time as a bounty hunter and killer for hire after the wars have made her a ruthless professional. Now, with her brother, the siblings work to regain and rebuild the Serrano name in this new era through trade, conquest and glory.

We emphasize a real life first mindset, thus offering a great place for the casual player to find a home for their character to come and join for roplay, experiencing casual gameplay and/or socializing with us in-game or through our discord channels among our Kiba-Kai family.

The Cartel:⸻|| Information

Viper Enterprises Group, a shipping company and manufacturer operating just outside of Limsa Lominsa. The company acts as a bridge, connecting their western operations to their eastern roots. VEG both sells and ships a wide array of lucrative wares including but not limited to: gemstones, rare metals, silks and other luxury items. Hard liquors, wine, sake, tobacco leaves and moko grass. Resources like ores and ingots, submersible parts and modifications, craftsman tools and weapons, legal or otherwise.

The company roster is comprised of Kiba-Kai's western mercenaries who often work conjointly with the Muerte sin Nombre. VEG headquarters is also home to both their western venue, The Drifting Siren and their underground fight club, The Grotto. VEG is responsible for producing both resources and capital for the Kiba-Kai yakuza. As such, the company is always in need of extra hands and those with a skilled trade could easily find success here.

Kiba-Kai West is a more casual roleplay free company that allows "non-conforming" characters to interact with the yakuza. Foreign (ijin) characters, characters that struggle with authority and/or characters that just would not maintain the status quo are welcome to apply. We hope to offer people a place where they can both indulge in the chaos and stories, while also having the ability to step back when the narrative changes for the worst. Kiba-Kai East and Kiba-Kai West are sister free companies and therefore members from one or the other are allowed to interact and collaborate with each other.Kiba-Kai West also acts as a stepping stone for characters who wouldn't be immediately accepted into the yakuza.

The Yakuza:⸻|| Information

The epitome of something that was born from nothing... the clans origins are a true testament to the bonds that tie us.What started as a scorned man collecting foreign riff-raff off the streets like trinkets and sundries, would blossom into one of the largest crime syndicates Hingashi had ever seen. The Wolf of Kugane, a volatile and deadly man of the shadows that seemingly turned Kugane's underbelly on its side in less than a moon...

Following him were thirty-two "fangs" that made up the maw of the syndicate. Soldiers, advisors, legal representatives, real estate agents, drug lords and business owners. There was hardly a pot The Wolf didn't have his hand in. With an iron first and a harsh, unforgiving regimen, defiance was out of the question and those who dared to trifle with him were met with the cruelest of punishments. Soldiers were disposed of without hesitation, replaced just as quickly as they went. For many seasons that was the status quo... until one woman unknowingly shook his entire world.The Wolf's ambitions would inevitably become his downfall as wanting hands reached much too far. Setting his sights on the western nations and all the spoils and glory that came with it, all he needed was something to sink his teeth into. And fate would have it that opportunity was practically thrown at his feet, as one Eno Fukushima came to The Wolf on a quest for information. Not star-crossed lovers, neither soulmates... more so a predator to prey, but that did not stop two scarred hearts from calling out to one another. A wolf and a lamb, which soon became a wolf and a snake. The fangs of Kiba-Kai couldn't help but feel slighted by Eno's swift and sudden promotion to saiko-komon, but how could any of them protest when the penalty could be, would be death?If they were still alive, they'd tell you that surely, The Wolf had more nefarious intentions. He didn't want her, he wanted Hancock and Eno was but a means to see that happen. Smitten as she was, the snake found herself between a rock and a hard place, forced to choose between her heart and her home. It was an impossible decision, one she just couldn't bear to make; a hesitation that soon cost her everything. Eno Fukushima, though her life spared, was stripped of her rank and excommunicated from the Kiba-Kai. The price for her life: a handsome debt she could never hope to repay, merely a means for The Wolf to keep his teeth in her.But all things, good or bad, must eventually come to an end, and who would have thought that the mighty wolf could be felled by a slippery snake...Now, as oyabun of Kiba-Kai, she intends to rebuild all that she destroyed for vengeance; the fangs will be better and greater than they ever were before.
